Having the following items with you during the Hunt will greatly improve your ability to collect items–and points!!
1. A smartphone
A mobile device (Blackberry, iPhone, etc.) that can take photographs, Google for information, and can access Twitter in order to tweet photos you collect during the day. You’ll also be using this device to stay updated via Twitter on bonus items that are being tweeted throughout the day.
2. A backup photo-taking device
Whether an actual digital camera, or another player’s smartphone. Just in case the batteries die out on one device, you’re not completely out of the game.
3. A car
While you could do this race on foot, by transit, or by bike, you’re going to find yourself at a disadvantage against teams who can zoom around the city (at no greater than posted speed limits, of course–see Rule 5) gathering Hunt items.
4. Your ingenuity
Some of the items are pretty easy. Some of them are pretty not! Be ingenious in gathering your items.
5. Your sense of humour
There’s probably going to be some funny, funny tales from the day.
