You’ll want to be prepared for Hunt Day when it arrives. You can be prepared by ensuring the following:
1. You have a Twitter account. If you don’t presently have a Twitter account, go to Twitter.com and register for free. You’ll be providing us with your username at check-in so that we can watch for the photos you tweet during the day.
2. Install software on your mobile device to help you interact with Twitter. UberSocial (@Tweets4EatsYYC on Twitter. You’ll be watching this account in the weeks leading up to the event to obtain advance items. You’ll also be watching this account on Hunt Day for bonus items that are being tweeted during the Hunt and are not on the paper list of hunt items.
4. You have an account with Twitpic.com. Twitpic enables you to tweet photographs (or, rather, links to photographs that are uploaded to your Twitpic account). This is the preferred method for getting your photos of hunt items back to the organizers.
5. Test all of these in advance of Hunt Day! You’ll want to make sure you know how to use these services prior to showing up at check-in.
